Holiday Shopping Season is here, check out this NC Triangle Small Business Saturday Shopping Guide and support some local businesses!
So today is my birthday and I’m so excited that not only is my hubby off from work today but my parents are in town to help me celebrate! Since it’s my special day I thought I would make today’s post about something I love to do and that is shopping. My favorite kind of shopping is shopping small. I love supporting local businesses and I often find that I’m more likely to find something unique which makes it even more special.

This year will make ten years since American Express created Small Business Saturday to encourage shoppers to support local businesses the Saturday after Thanksgiving. According to their website, for every $1 spent at a business in the US, about $.67 stays in the local community. How awesome is that?!
The North Carolina Triangle is full of so many wonderful local businesses. Since we’re ten days away from Small Business Saturday, I created this NC Triangle Small Business Saturday Shopping Guide.
