I have another summer cocktail to share with you today. It’s Strawberry Peach Sangria and it is absolutely divine!
This is a light and refreshing cocktail perfect for the warm weather season. I love that it is easy to throw together and it makes great use of your summer berries and peaches.
Since I’m originally from South Florida, I am no stranger to sangrias. I loved going out to lunch to my favorite Cuban restaurants and ordering a glass of Sangria to go with my favorite dishes like ropa vieja. Of course, that is traditional sangrias made with red wine. Sangria means blood in Spanish.

Overtime though less traditional sangrias have evolved using all kinds of different wine and fruits and I love them all. I’m particularly drawn to the lighter sangrias and I especially love any combination made with peaches.
Sangrias are fantastic because you can customize them to be whatever you want them to be! You can use different kinds of fruit, liquor, or wine. I decided to use a
Sangrias are really best when you can let the alcohol chill out together for a good amount of time. I recommend making this the night before you plan on enjoying this beautiful Strawberry Peach Sangria. Letting it sit in the fridge for a good 12 – 24 hours will really give you the best flavor. This also makes it ideal for entertaining.

Strawberry Peach Sangria
Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries stemmed and quartered
- 2 peaches peeled, pitted, and sliced
- 1 orange sliced
- 1 lemon sliced
- ¼ cup superfine sugar
- ¼ cup coconut rum
- 1 Tbsp orange liqueur
- 1 Tbsp peach schnapps
- 1 Tbsp brandy
- 1 bottle Moscato 750 ml
Instructions
- Combine the strawberries and peaches in a bowl with the sugar. Cover and let chill for a couple of hours.
- Add the macerated fruit and orange and lemon slices to the pitcher. Follow it with the coconut rum, orange liqueur, peach schnapps, and brandy to the pitcher.
- Pour the bottle of Moscato into the pitcher and stir. Cover the pitcher and let chill overnight for about 12 – 24 hours. The longer you let the sangria sit with the fruit, the better!
- Serve over ice.
